Things you won't see happen on blockchain based platforms

in #reddit6 years ago

Reddit's been doing this a lot today.

Its even funnier considering they are getting paid by both advertisers and their users now in "Reddit Gold" for server upkeep.

Sort:

Are you implying they would spend money improving their servers? nah they have to waste all their money on making their sketchy algorithm and changing the narrative on the site to make it appropriate for their political views.

Reddit is on a blockchain?!?!?! Really :O

Yeah Steemit has never gone down :-P

Well front end has yeah, but that's the beauty, we can just use a myriad of other front ends.

Not sure if serious

we have talked in real time while the steem blockchain was shitting itself before. IDK what you mean

When has the Steem blockchain had any issues? I thought you are confusing Steemit the front-end with Steem the blockchain which already is something you should know the difference by now.

Nope, as you know I definitely know the difference between those things. However these were times when the majority of front-ends went down at the same time - Steemit, Busy, D.Tube, etc....
