THE SOLUTION IS NOT TO STOP MAKING PLASTIC STRAWS
ISN'T IT SAD HOW WE ARE DESTROYING OUR PLANET AND USING UP OUR PRECIOUS RESOURCES IN A SELFISH AND FOOLISH MANNER. HOW CAN WE BE SO IGNORANT TO NOT SEE THAT THE SHIT IS ABOUT TO HIT THE FAN!! WAKE UP WORLD!!!!
SERIOUSLY I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL THE SUPERMARKETS PACKED OUR GROCERIES IN PAPER BAGS UNTIL THEY DECIDED THAT WE WERE CUTTING DOWN TOO MANY TREES. SO THEN CAME ALONG THE PLASTIC BAGS WHICH WERE MORE CONVENIENT STRONGER RECYCLABLE AND PUT AN EASE ON THE DEFORESTATION. BUT WHATS THE SENSE IN USING A RECYCLABLE MATERIAL IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RECYCLE IT!!
WE CAN NOT CONTINUE TO FILL OUR OCEANS OR ANY OTHER PART OF OUR HURTING PLANET WITH MATERIAL LIKE PLASTIC. THIS IS ABSURD! It's INSANE! It's RETARDED! THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO MAKE RECYCLING MANDATORY IN EVERY STATE, COLONY, IN EVERY COUNTRY. SO THE SOLUTION IS NOT TO STOP MAKING PLASTIC STRAWS OR TO STOP USING THEM. BUT TO MAKE IT FROM %100 RECYCLED PLASTIC.
EVERY HOUSEHOLD SHOULD HAVE TO DIVIDE THERE WASTES into CATEGORIES FOR MANDATORY RECYCLING! PLASTIC, PAPER, GLASS, METALS BATTERIES ELECTRONICS AND BIODEGRADABLE AND SO ON. BUT SAD TO SAY THIS IS AN IDEA THAT SEEMS TO BE FAR FETCHED BECAUSE ITS ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS. It's SELFISH MONOPOLY. AND THE TRUTH IS THAT WTSHTF MONEY WILL NOT BE WORTH ANYTHING. THE ONLY THING THAT WILL MATTER ARE THE RESOURCES WE HAVE TO SURVIVE, THE EXACT SAME ONES WE ARE TAKING FOR GRANTED

Recycling is in itself a crutch. It costs a ton of energy to recycle. Reduction and reusing are superior forms of conservation.
The real solution for plastic bags is simple enough. Simply outlaw them because they are totally unsustainable. We should be using plastic-like materials created from the cellulose of plants, but that is slightly more expensive so no one does it.
Unfortunately, this is the cost of doing business. Many companies have razor thin profit margins and a law that bans plastic could have the far-reaching unintended consequence of putting many out of business.
