This is my submssion for @recordpool, Song of the Day.

During my university days, ska and punk were my favourite genres of music to listen to. Funny, considering that I'm a Classical Violinist by day.

There is something incredibly touching about this song "Ruby Soho" despite the fact that the singer is at best described as pretty terrible! May it is the complete sincerity with which he sings? Or is it the great music that backs him? I really can't say why I was attracted (and still am) to this band. However, my wife and daughter hate this music, so I only get to listen to it in the car when I'm driving by myself....
