Tallest tree
The world,s tallest tree is called the stratosphere Giant . It's grows in the Rockefeller forest, Humboldt Redwood state park, California. at 112.32m, this redwood is almost three time the height of the statue of liberty in new York . Most of Britain tallest tree are in Scotland: a Douglas fir growing in Tayside, Scotland, is the record-holder at 64.5m.

Biggest living things
The general Sherman giant sequoia National park, California, USA, is the world's largest living things. It's 83.8m tall and measure 2.53m round it's mighty trunks. Including it's huge root system , the tree weighs about 2,000 tonnes. It's cantains enough timber to make shelves for almost a million book. If all this timber was made in to pencils and they ware laid end to end , they would more then reach round the Equator.

Largest and smelliest flower
The flowers of the rafflesia, or stinking corpse lily measures almost 1m across and weight 11kg. It is also one of the world's smelliest flowers, with an odour like rooting flesh . The smell attracts file, which pollinate the plant.
