Last April 3, 2018, the Sto. Niño Day Care Center had their recognition day to both parents and pupils who gave their exemplary time and efforts to come at an end of a journey but everyone knows that this is not the end but the start of the beginning of a new journey. Another door awaits the pupils as they will be facing new pursuits, new challenges and new opportunities in their move-up to K2.

Every beginning has an end.
And every end has a new beginning.

A day before Recognition Day, we, parents, headed back to school since we need to clean and prepare it as the venue of the said event. I know it's kinda small but we got no choice. No enough time and no budget to get a bigger space. So, need to work on our initiatives on how we will have the place suit for the said event.

Luckily, we got enough resources since two of the parents are under in the catering services and business.

We tried our best to figure all of these. I know it's not like other venues but I am just feeling grateful since most of the pupils and parents well-appreciated our efforts to make the event best as they received their medals, ribbons, and certificates.

For the food, we just ordered in their catering - Avery Catering and Services good for lunch. A packed lunch contained a cup of rice and a piece of chicken joy for the guests, mentors, parents and the pupils.

Note: I don't have any pic of the packed lunch since I got busy with my daughter and the guest.

Here is the program that made by their teacher which I gave to one of the guest speakers at the said event.

Yes! It is an important event for everyone so we invited guest speakers who can give such inspirations for the kids as well as the parents. We got Barangay Captain Ramil Rabanes and Barangay Kagawad Lou Bernadette Dulay and some of the Day Care Center teachers of other schools plus the participation of their mentor for 6 months Divine Dulay.

Of course, the parents are well-prepared for the intermission number for everyone.

Then here comes the awarding of medals, ribbons and certificates for the pupils, supportive parents, and the recognition of the guests and of course to Mam Divine for her unending support, help, and wholeheartedly will for the children of the daycare center.

She received the following:

One medal for being an Achiever plus a ribbon and a certificate.
One medal for one of the Sports awardee for Relay plus a ribbon.
One medal from the Parent.
Ribbon for being Punctual.
Ribbon for being Neat.
Ribbon for being Best In Attendance.

If my daughter got her awards, I do have mine too. lol.

I am a bit surprised with this though I helped their teacher to prepare everything but gosh... I don't expect it, lol. She made some revisions that I won't know it.

Time and effort are all worth it. Oooppsss, it is not biased since there are criteria for judging the portfolio and it was judged by the guests of the said event.

After the awarding, it's lunchtime... so eating time... (no pictures since I am hungry too, lol)

As her mother, I don't care how many awards she will be received, the fact that she discovered what she can do, the fact that I saw her improvement and how she will be working on every stage that she needs to conquer, the fact that she knows how to interact which is one of our reasons why she needs to be at school, to be socialize and see how the environment play and teach - that is the best reward that she will ever be received. I know this is just the beginning and she will be facing more challenges and part of that is to survive the class without seeing me around.
