Greek Salad
This Greek Salad can be thrown together in mere minutes, making it as easy as it is delicious. This symphony of mediterranean ingredients makes for a tasty, fresh addition to any meal. Serve it on the side, or top it with some protein like grilled tofu or pan fried salmon to make a complete, healthy meal.
This salad is so simple and so yummy, after you try it, it will surely find a place in your cooking repertoire. It pairs well with any pasta dish.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups mixed greens
- ½ cup grape tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons pitted kalamata olives
- ¼ cup chickpeas
- 1 cucumber
- ¼ cup feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
1.Halve the tomatoes, dice the cucumber, set aside.
2.Place half of the mixed greens in a large salad bowl.On top of the greens, layer 1 half of the tomatoes, olives, chickpeas, cucumber, feta, and sunflower seeds.
3.Repeat the previous step with the remaining ingredients. Serve and enjoy!
Simple, healthy, and a unique blend of flavors. I’d play around with olive oil and some acid like lemons, vinegar, or both 😋
That's more like how it looks. Not all ingredients are important, the typical one has tomate,onions,cucumber,feta and olive oil, you make a very special one
