Simple, Effective Homemade Deodorant: Sweat It & Forget It!
http://towanderfreely.com/?p=1549
One of my many interests is full-time RV'ing. Full-time RV'ers tend to be minimalist and self-reliant yet very connected. One of the full-time RV'ing channels I follow, To Wander Freely, demonstrated making homemade deodorant. Something I never even considered.
Ingredients
- Less than 1/2 C arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)
- 2 T baking soda
- 2 ¼ T coconut oil , melted
- Optional: Essential oil of your choice, like cedarwood, rosemary, and lavender
This 2 1/2 minute video shows the ingredients being mixed and the deodorant being packed into a dispenser.
Instructions are available on the To Wander Freely website along with links to purchase the ingredients.
Thank you for this post @etcmike I was always interested in making my own deodorant. I have all the ingredients involved in making this and will try it very soon...
You are welcome!
Steem on,
Mike
