I do love me some french toast. This looks fantastic! We have a local bakery where I live that makes a white bread that is more airy and a little more crusty than a traditional gummy loaf of white bread. That is our go-to bread for when we are having french toast. We occasionally break down and buy a "rustic Italian Boulle" too. That's what they call it at the store anyway.
