homemade fit & healthy BOUNTY bars 🍫🍫
On the internet you can find a lot of recipes, how to make healthier version of bounty bars -> some of them requires only ~ 4 ingredients so as you see - it can be very simple.
I've decided to take, and adjust for myself recipe from thebigmansworld - version higher in proteins. ;)
In the original recipe you can find distribution of ingredients using tablespoon / cups, here are my results after recalculating to weight units:
- 100g unsweetened shredded coconut
- 30g coconut flour
- 30g protein powder
- 30g coconut oil, melted
- 30g sticky sweetener of choice (honey)
- 50-100ml milk of choice (I've used coconut milk)
- ~100g chocolate chips
Instruction is pretty straightforward:
- mix all ingredients,
- form into bars,
- put into freezer for ~30 min,
- pour with melted chocolate
- keep in the fridge, try it once chocolate will be solidified again
Cheers!
Bounty is one of my favorite bars. Since I don't eat bought sweets, I have to prepare them myself ;)) Thanks for the recipe!
neither do I - I mean - regular bars, like I was eating when I was young and not aware about all the stuff about food ;) now I'm only testing occasionally 'healthy' versions or some special bars - like for endurance sports
I hope you're gonna like them and share your results!
