Let's make delicious grilled squid for the cold day.
Ingredients.
- 1 pound of squid.
- 1/2 lime.
- 6-8 lettuce leaves (for garnish).
For sauce
- 2 tbsps of green onion (chopped).
- 1 tbsp of garlic (finely chopped).
- 1 tbsp of ginger (finely chopped).
- 1 tbsp of paprika powder.
- 2 tbsps of soy sauce.
- 1 tbsp of white wine.
- 1 tbsp of sugar.
- 3 tbsps of Korean chilli sauce.
- 2 tbsps of corn syrup.
- 2 tbsps of sesame oil.
- 1/2 tsp of pepper.
- 1/2 tsp of fried sesame seeds.
Step by step guides.
Step 1:
- Drain and rinse well squids, remove the inedible portions.
- Rinse well with salt water and rinse again with cool water. Then put it into a cooking basket to drain.
Step 2:
- Prepare the sauce: Put green onion, garlic, ginger, paprika powder, soy sauce, white wine, sugar, Korean chilli sauce, corn syrup, sesame oil, pepper, sesame seeds into a large bowl and mix well.
Step 3:
- Marinade squids with this sauce that you have prepared, cover with food plastic wrap, put it into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for soak up.
Step 4:
- Grilled the squid on the both side until golden, when the squids is cooked, spread this sauce that you have marinated squids on top, continue to grill for about 2-3 minutes. Garnish with lettuce leaves if you want.
