We had a lot of fun with this one and surprisingly it didn't take very long. It's amazing how quickly you can strip down a full kitchen into bare walls. We pulled the counter tops, upper and lower cabinets, sink, flooring, and even the ceiling! This place was literally tore up from the floor up.

There is more floor demolition to go since as you can see in the pics there is a lot of dry-rot and bad wood that need to be replaced. We still have some work on the foundation to do and we are opening up the floor here since we discovered how bad it was. We actually discovered it before we took up the flooring - we were underneath the house the night before working on some of the piers and that's when we noticed all the rotted wood. It's right under the sink area which leads up to believe that they had some kind of leak under the sink that went on for some time. Regardless of that - it will be cleared away and replaced with fresh solid wood and we will be one step closer to being finished with this project.
