Reach a sense of integrity
Man lives in combat and so life is full of tension. The tension of life consists of the individual struggles within the day and night follow-up.
Individual struggle is not only a static force such as hunting deer in nature, but also adapting with nature and society. Fromm suggests that our side, which is opposed to nature, begins with the development of intelligence.
Nature allows us to be a productive being with the superiority of intelligence, but it allows us to realize that our environment is not permanent. This insight brings together the uniqueness and the feeling of loneliness.
The solution to overcome this feeling is to adapt to the authority and the group. For an ordinary person, nothing is more difficult and unbearable than not belonging to a large group. So how do we do it with our own fairy tale?
One way of achieving a sense of totality is to discover our own individuality. The existence of a famous painter in society is his own brush stroke. Our own passions and thoughts create our own fairy tale.
