PRODIGY past away last week do to complications from sickle-cell anemia. Even though he has passed he has left a deep mark in the Hip-Hip game.
I will never forget the first time I heard the words:

He was a rebel who always questioned things in search of the truth.
Most of my music is in that realm when it comes to content.

I listen to Mobb Deep everyday on my sound system ever since that day. And to be honest I have listen to a few of his latest tracks including the video I promoted on that post.
Prodigy embody what 90s new york hiphop was all about. Besides the 'playa' mentality from Bad Boy, there was the griminess from Wu, Nas and Mobb that really emblem the underground.
So many legends not in their genre but the industry as a whole. Music today pales in comparison to the musicians I had the privilege of growing up to!
