R.I.P. Prodigy from Mobb Deep - Rest in Beats
So yesterday was a busy day but not too busy to blast the infamous album all day as well as HINC album from one of the greatest to ever do it. Prodigy of Mobb Deep is one of the most influential emcees during the golden era of New York Hip Hop. Prodigy is a mistique character that know a bit of what we call Barz!!!!
Lyricially he was amazing and to learn that his long life disease has finally caught up with him. The Sickle Cell Symptoms, so predominant in the African American population, he always was open about his treatment. To learn that he died from it, was a bit of a shock specially since he seemed to have it under control. At least it was something he lived his whole life with it. But nothing gets realer than real when you finally died from it.
In his memory I blasted his latest video done with AZ and Raekwon. I want to share with everyone.
Also want to share a special Dead End Hip Hop show talking about the God.
Some incredible quotables from Prodigy
Life is a gamble, we scramble for money
I might crack a smile but aint a damn thing funny
Take these words and think it through
Or the next rhyme I write might be about you
Scared to death niggaz fall to their worst fear
My retail's in braile, for vision impared
You looking for P, well you can find him everywhere
In a project near you, I'll be right there.

thank you for sharing
Lyricially he will be the first star !!! he always keep his great job !
Kept it thorough....
I was very upset to see that this guy had passed away. Prodigy was such a great rapper. He had the approach to his music of someone who thought that every day was going to be their last. His rapping style had aged gracefully as he was putting out quality music well into his late 30's. The Albert Einstein album he did with The Alchemist is a personal favorite of mine and was one of the best hip hop albums in 2013. RIP.
