Rant Culture and Why It's Deadly

Dissensions, even ones on social media is just damaging to persons, businesses, and even one who has said such things. It is sin that destroys one's life and others.

Ever scrolled down through Facebook and saw a post with screaming caps? I'm sure we all have. Sometimes, we may appeal to the post especially if it's about a political or religious view, but no matter how right it may seem, worldly wisdom coming from men is still an empty word. It means nothing and you don't gain something out of it either.

"There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health." Proverbs 12:18

"Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
The person who labors, labors for himself,
For his hungry mouth drives him on." Proverbs 16:24-26

Small rants or complaints are like white lies, the more you feed them, the more they get bigger, so the more we rant or pick on a ranting person, the more we become foolish in the sight of people and of God. It may let you feel good or emptied of negativity for a while, but it can never fill the void in your heart. Ranting is not satisfying your spirit, it only gives a temporary ego boost that'll give you a rotten feeling towards the end.

Don't let one rant soak up your day, instead, choose to walk in the light, stay thankful, and you'll see a better picture of your life.
