Thanks to all who joined us for a lovely chat on the pirate radio this week. With many Dj's on the move this week there were a few empty slots floating about, so it was decided to kick off the Pirate Session a little early and play it out. it turned out pretty great and was a great bit of fun for all involved.

In the first shift we started out with a little music to get settled in while we all got up to speed and prepared for a chat. we were feeling a little old school gangsta tip so leaned into that ;)

After getting pumped with the hella tracks lined we had Avian Flew jump on air for a chat spanning various topics from palm oil, Trump space force, psychology, science and much more. The tone is considerably whimsical as we traverse the topic in the natural flow of conversation. Soon after kicking off with the chat Avian Flew suggested i should be recording the conversation and since i had never thought of doing this i said "well why not" and hit the record button. Right after starting to record the segment we are promptly joined by the one and only Globo who stopped by to get in on the fun and games and spin some tunes for us. But i wont give any more away and i will let the recording speak for itself.

After the awesomely fun pirate session we wrapped it up and we played out with another old school track "Xzibit - Paparazzi" and though it seemed we were done for the day BAM !!! an influx of my favorite Steemians ready for a chat :) so we dragged everyone on air for a continuation of Copes Corner Pirate Radio !!!!! but the recording was stopped.... to be honest there was considerable uncertainty if the first segment had actually recorded or not.

We were joined by @amberyooper, @dflo, @torico, @gray00, @clayboyn . We kicked off by chatting about some of the subjects covered in Detaching From Toxicity - Start Today article and moved through the gammut of associated topics such as social norms, social interaction, human conditioning, psychology , philosophy and much, much, more. With all of us involved in the conversation it was a great way to explore the the areas of focus as well as introduce new perspectives.

Many of us disclosed personal examples relating to the discussion to flesh out the various constructs we were defining. The group created a safe space for expression of these sorts stories and content through empathy, compassion and understanding. It was great to be part of such a dynamic group in action being open , honest and authentic in our experiences with the subject matter.
