Pan- Seared Liempo

This one was supposed to be grilled in charcoal however the clothes hanging in thw clothesline hasn't dried completely yet and if I push for the grilled liempo recipe, I'll end up with the smokey goodness of the meat but we will also end up smelling like grilled liempo for the whole week.

So momma's got to improvise. So out the pan goes. The recipe really simple and easy. Here's what you need:

3 pcs pork belly liempo cut
Salt & pepper
Rosemary
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Butter

Just rub all the ingredients except butter into the meat. Let it sit for 30mins to an hour in the fridge.

Heat the pan then put in some olive oil. You can then go ahead amd put the liempo into the pan. Cook one side for 5-10 minutes or until you see the meat slowly browning. Ypu wouldn't want it burnt. Trust me, it wouldn't taste as nice.

Turn to the other side and cook until both sides get that brownish reddish color. You may then go ahead and remove from the pan and spread butter all over the liempo.

It's ready to serve. This goes best with rice but since we're trying to transition into keto diet, we opted for sauteed veggies.
