Vegetable Pakora || A Recipe from Banglai Cuisine

in #qurator5 years ago

Hello Wonderful People!

Trying different recipes is fun, no? And adding your own choices in the same old recipe is more than fun!

I love to do experiments with my cooking though I'm not a good cook. But as I have to cook every single for my family and my son, so I try to add something more in the same food.

Bangali cuisine is totally different. We use lots of spices, we love deep-fried items, our base meal is rice and food is oily. So inventing something as per our health and nutrition is a must. A few days ago I made 'Pakora' for some of my guests. Which is also a deep-fried item but I have tried to add some veggies to make it balanced. ;)

Actually there're many ways to make Pakora. You can add whatever you feel best and good going with your taste buds. So here I'm sharing my recipe.

First, take some steamed noodles.

Add some chopped veggies, onions and chilis.

I have added some cooked beef cubes!

Add some corn or rice flour and an egg without the yolk.

Mix it well

Make a round shape with your hand or spoon.

Pre-hit the pan with vegetable oil and fry the pakora for a few minutes in a low hit. Shuffle the side after one minute.

Take away the Pakoras from the pan and serve it hot with sauce, salad and what you like.
