Yes, in the past it was an indicator to see when last upvoted. Now with the new code it will mean that the upvote can only go out once a day regardless of how many posts you make. So if you post once or ten times a day. You can only get one upvote.

You can always view if @qurator upvoted by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the total amount of upvotes. =)
