What, or maybe I should say who, is a “Shooting Star”?

Let me explain... In @qurator's continued dedication on showcasing its members we recently started a weekly feature called the Shining Qurite , where we feature a few recent quality posts from one of our selected members who show exemplary commitment to the platform, engages with other steemians and shares valuable and extraordinary posts to the community.
But you are newer to the platform, have less than or right around 500 Steem Power and are looking to further advance and get noticed... so, how can you do that?

Monomad Challenge- Flower

For today a shot of a coneflower, one of the well picked flowers in our new garden. The plants where picked by our gardener while he was renovating the garden, we had a final say in it but trusted him completely. Such a beautiful flower this coneflower, and a great plus besides looking good is that bees like this flower

Monomad Challenge- Sleeping Beauty

Yesterday was a busy work day in combination with some great social events in the evening so I didn't had the time for a #monomad challenge post or my other promised cat post

Macro At Night

In my #monomad post from yesterday I already mentioned that I had been playing with my macro extension tubes. Did this at night and used two small plastic light figures for lighting the photo subjects. As I had all the extension tubes combined mounted on the camera for these shots, 36mm + 20mm + 12mm, in combination with manual focus

The Shooting Star Wall of Fame

Since we will be featuring a Shooting Star each week we are going to start the Shooting Star Wall of Fame where all the featured members will be placed. We think this will be a great place for new steemians to find great authors who are also starting their awesome steemit adventures.
