A good reason for an early start

I tend to post my wildlife photos for @qurator's Photo Friday Competition; but for this week, I'll post what I saw BEFORE searching for wildlife. In this day, I got up really early to do a safari in Uda Wallawa National Park, in Sri Lanka. The main goal was to see wild elephants, and I got to the park just before the sunrise. And entering the park... this was the view!

This sunrise in the misty morning, with the beautiful landscape to frame, was probably one of the best I've ever seen. The safari that followed was incredible, but for this view alone... waking up early was worth it!
