Life without friends is boring and dull. Many people may walk in and out of our lives, only a few will remain and stay for a long time. Genuine friends often start in childhood. And it blossoms to greater friendship as time goes by.
My first born has always fancied our next door neighbor AJ, a year younger than him. My son is seven and AJ will turn six this July.
Ever since we moved in the compound, these two had been inseparable. Actually, they have known each other since birth! I remember we started renting the apartment even before we were married. Till then, their friendship grows each day.
I treat AJ as if she was my own daugther. She even calls me mommy. She is family.
