Esta es la flor del árbol de Araguaney. Este árbol es nuestro árbol nacional, en Venezuela. Fue declarado árbol nacional, por el entonces presidente de la república, Rómulo Gallegos. En 1948.

Es un árbol frondoso. La Tabebuia Chrisantha, de hojas verdes, que a partir de las primeras lluvias del año, florece. A tal punto, que nuestras montañas, a distancia, se observan tapizadas totalmente con este bello amarillo.

It is a leafy tree. The Tabebuia Chrisantha, of green leaves, that from the first rains of the year, blooms. To such an extent, that our mountains, at a distance, are fully upholstered with this beautiful yellow.
