Your not as alone as you might think @lanmis. Thought I would pop by to say, "Thank you!" for the repost of my #introduceyourself blog. That was super nice of you to do that.

Unfortunately the quote is almost accurate. I had tons of friends before I started my career in business.
As the years go by and my business grow, one by one they gone...almost all. Not all of them, but most.
I lost some without any notice because of "don't have time right now" from both sides, some got jealous, some tried to stop me, some turned against me...some try to take advantage of me and others found out that their road is not similar to mine. Can't blame them. When they went to parties I worked hard. When they worked for normal salaries I worked on 7 and 8 figure projects. We were totally different.
From old friends, I have only 1 more friend left, who became my business partner and that's what kept our friendship. But the second good news is that along the way I met tons of other people with same mindset, same visions and goals, and to be honest, that's far more better than having old friends with a wrong attitude in life.
So, many who started with me didn't finish with me. But that doesn't mean I haven't met new people on this road.

That's great motivation for moving forward.keep on Steeming 😀😀!!

Keep On Steeming
That may be a good t-shirt tagline

Yeah! How cool it will be to have steemit logo and tagline on our t-shirt. We have a sponsorship team, I will take this suggestion to them.

That would be a good idea if steemit pays you for that, or at least if you plan building follower list on steemit.
But I really doubt they would pay

I try to build my reputation and then take that project to steemit people so that they appreciate it.

That's a smart strategy.
But it would be a lot easier if your team joins you...and if you pay some influencer to spread a word about you (to boost your content)

My entrepreneur journey has been much the same. But I have learned to re-frame my thinking on who my friends really are. Friendship. Two (or more) friends in the same ship, navigating by the same stars, and headed in the same direction. These are your real friends. :)

It's interesting but as soon as I defined what a real friend was... I was able to identify them easily. Once I knew who they were I knew who I should be spending my time with. I have found that if you want more support (because lets face it! Being an entrepreneur is tough and lonely in the early stages) you simply need to support those friends who really appreciate you and are headed in the same direction as you are. They may not be exactly at the same place you are but one thing is certain... The paths you walk on run parallel to each other.

Another thing I look for is people doing extra... It's the people who are doing extra that are exceptional... That's the kind of energy you want to have around you. It's ok if the rest of those old acquaintances don't get it... When you have great friends who do get it around you it's a lot easier to identify the qualities of great friends!

What's your entrepreneur journey? What do you do? Or, what do you live for?

That is that. You start a business and hoping that everyone will support you like before, than you see that it doesn't work like that. Eventually you get support only from those people who are in the same/similar journey and understand perfectly how you feel and what you go trough.

I like that you differentiated between doing and being @lanmis. Because that's the key to living a fulfilled life of self-discovery. For me that's what business is all about. Self-discovery and the pursuit of meaning and insight. The better I know myself the better I do in my business activities... It's all about being. Be. Do. Have. In that order.

So that's what I would say first... My entrepreneurial journey is all about being who I am meant to be. Being a New Pioneer.

It's these identity statements that we tell ourselves and others that convince us to authentically be ourselves and genuinely connect with our stake holders our supporters. When we have our identity and value figured out our action and message is clear. That's when we know if we are being successful or not... If we are in alignment with our identity. I view building my business as building an extension to myself.

I know what you mean. It's strange how, when your starting out, you think all of the people you know will unconditionally care enough to support you. Instead most of them stand on the sidelines and watch you struggle.

It's like the tomato plants I grew the other year... When they were weak and frail. When they were small and insignificant. When they were wilting in the sun for lack of water. No one would water them. They could walk past them all day long and not even think to give them a drop of life saving water...

It was up to me to care for those little plants. Without me... They would have died. And here's the thing... It wasn't until the tomatoes started materializing that the people who should have known better in the first place began watering the plants! I guess it's human nature hey...? We just got to continue watering our ideas. My mantra for this: "If it is to be it's up to me."

So I guess that's why I ignore all the critics, downers, negative naysayers, and speculators... They simply do not have the vision required to bring the idea you have to life... Nor do they have the impulse to encourage you to do so... either because they want to protect you from failing (which is what the business cycle is all about... failing your way forward!) or they want to maintain the power dynamics of your current relationship.

That's why it's good to form your own T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) of supporters... Because when you give support to the right people... They support you. It's why I have met with my business and investing T.E.A.M. weekly for the past 6 years! I don't know where I would be with out those guys! :D

And yeah! Since you asked @lanmis... I have been building and running a fitness business called @beachready since 2008. I'm now in the middle of launching a business/investment company called... You guessed it! @newpioneer!

I'm glad your one of my top supporters @lanmis... Honestly... It's been a real pleasure getting to know you and I hope that I can support you and your entrepreneur efforts as well!

Thanks for all the great conversations. I look forward to more as these motivate me and brighten my day! :)

PS: No problem, I was glad to do it.
I love your mantra and the way you think.
" "I am a New Pioneer."
This is a mantra that I have been telling myself more and more over the last 10 years. At first it began as a small tapping on the back on my mind but as the years went by it has become an
identity statement that has guided me like a light on a dark night."
To bad there is no more people with this mindset, but first step to have more people like that is to show them examples of others, maybe it will motivate someone to do the same.

I work for my formula Student team and It gave me super motivation in my life and gave direction to my career. So this is my tagline because we build a car on our own.

BLOOD SWEAT GASOLINE

Wow 🤩🤩🤩!!
How did you do that ?? Is that available online??

I just found it in Google.
Just type your quote and it will pop out in the images.
I think you may try to print it trough teespring or similar website if you need a t-shirt like that

Yeah! Thanks for the suggestion.😊😊
I already have two t-shirts with this tagline..

But this is also looking nice..

Do you have an official logo or just a tagline?

It's probably a stupid questions but:
What's the blue and red color for?

Haha, I just saw your profile headline photo.
What are the bananas for? Doesn't really match with a tagline :-)

Yes I know 😂😂.
It's a kind of Looking weird. I had a different cover photo of our formula student car two days back. But it is not matching with the cover photo and hence it is not clear. So I uploaded this 🍌🍌 one temporarily. I making another one. Thank you for giving your honest opinion 😊😊

Can't wait to read a blog about that adventure...

Haha..me too....very curious to write about many interesting things

Honestly, the best thing you could do (but probably didn't) was if you recorded everything from start and make a sort of show (youtube or personal blog) and let the new generations follow your steps and get inspired by your journey

Actually this is a very good idea but we haven't done that sort of thing from beginning. We do everything but we are not able to advertise our project properly because of some problems. Even though we have some videos of differnt events I could not post it here as of now because I have to take permission of existing team members.
And also showing the manufacturing process in the videos is against the spirit of formula student, because you have to get ideas on your own. You can check online that very less or nothing will be available about manufacturing process.

Manufacturing process is a secret in any project, I was thinking about recording the "fun" process.
Time you spent together, fun you had, positive spirit and so on. That's what motivates people for anything.
On other hand, you don't have to publish it, keep it for yourself as a memory for those days when you get old...or if you get super famous building Formula 1 to show your beginnings :-)

Haha... Thank you very much for the suggestion. I have some wonderful videos and photos saved in my drive. When I look back into them I feel very happy as you said.
Definitely I will try to bring fun part into steemit. 😊😊
