To understand how the media misleads the public it is necessary to understand the difference between a story and a narrative. Here's a list of arrests made under Trump in the first month.
In every local source and some national sources these arrests will have been reported. But, they will have been presented individually, as isolated incidents. This allows the media to avoid presenting a narrative, namely that Trump is getting tough with people trafficking and doing so successfully with 1500 arrests inside one month.
Contrast this with the Russia collusion narrative.
With zero arrests and a lot of speculation, this story has dominated the headlines for months. Yet it seems to be largely 'hot air' Meanwhile...
Thirty Thousand Sealed Indictments have piled up in a number of months. This is far far more than normal. Yet on this ongoing story, the media remains silent, keeping the narrative on other things it would prefer to talk about.
So we can see that false narratives can be broken down to two main categories:
The lie by ommision (failing to mention the connection between people trafficking arrests)
The lie by inclusion (giving undue attention to a weightless Russia collusion story)
Grasp this and the MSM will never fool you again!

Good perspective presented.
What is your data source for the number of arrests made?
I've trusted a meme from a research group, but I was active in research whilst this was going on so don't doubt the figure. To source it fully I'd need a LOT of references...
Every so often they'll just mention some arrests on the news. It's never given more than 10 seconds of airtime and then its moving right on. Nothing to see here folks.
