Interesting... The two books do seem to indicate two different historical paths from which he can choose. I'm not sure that his political masters are going to be able to help him though, because of the giant rut they've driven themselves into and spinning their wheels, making the rut deeper and impossible to escape without a tow truck. What could the tow truck be, that would be able to pull Harvey out of his rut?
Yes, it does look fairly bleak for them. Maybe it's an attempt for a kind of plea bargain. 'Help me' with a lesser sentence and I'll keep schtum.
