After this nationally televised gaffe, Spider-man swept Gwen off her feet with a romantic getaway to make it up to her.

I mean, what damsel in distress could resist being swept away by her beloved superhero? It was a dream come true, until discovering that her fantasy was all a web of lies.

Ashamed, Spider-man needed to get some air to figure out how to fix this sticky situation before it got worse.

Poor guy. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Spider-man the same again.
