Seu obverso mostra um retrato de seu fundador Melvin Jones e o logo do Lions Club International.
O reverso mostra um leão, uma leoa e um filhote sobrepostos a um globo.
Foram autorizadas a serem emitidas 400.000 moedas em Filadélfia. O preço de lançamento foi de U$50,95 e o preço atual é cerca de U$80,00 neste grau.
