Continuando nossa série de $.50 Comemorativos Americanos, vamos mostrar hoje o 1925 "Stone Mountain".

Como todos os $.50 comemorativos, ele pesa 12,5g com 90% de pureza de prata.

Esta moeda comemoraria os soldados do Sul e o recentemente falecido Presidente Warren G. Harding. Ao fim o presidente não apareceu e a moeda focou então em dois heróis sulistas.

O obverso mostra os Generais Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson a cavalo.

O reverso mostra mostra uma águia pousada numa rocha, com estrelas ao fundo.

    É verdade, mas mesmo assim o preço dela é bem alto comparado com outras de tiragens muito menor.
