A Prainha localiza-se entre o Recreio dos Bandeirantes e Grumari, na zona oeste do Rio de Janeiro. É uma das praias mais procuradas pelos surfistas e já foi palco de inúmeros campeonatos de surf. Conta também com o Parque Natural da Prainha, que apresenta diversas trilhas ecológicas e um belo contato com a natureza, dentro da Mata Atlântica.
