Democracy is the system of government we pratice , however to me it seems like Authoritarianism, where the truth is not the fact but what they definitely make us believe whether we like it or not.
Popular Nigerian Writer Buchi Emencheta once called THE LAW AN ASS, and i cant agree more, we watch the TV about a clear case of murder, and they say Justice can't be served because witnesses needs to testify, when clearly the whole country saw it.
However thhe most alarming case of psy-ops ever was the shooting of nearly 20 people by an unkown gunman who stormed a catholic in Nigeria, at Enugu spraying sporadically into the congregation killing over 20 people and injuring scores of people, and fled. it became a gory sight, of which i called BLOOD ON THE CHURCH FLOOR, it seemed like an Assasination attempt, this detail was exactly given by an eye witness who was lucky to escape death.
This account by an eye witness was however never published by the press. And believe me the next thing the headline read on T.V and newspaper was:
VIGILANTE GROUPS EXCHANGING FIRE CAUSES MILD INFRIGMENT ON CHURCH WORSHIPERS
After this a facebook post by an unkown user went viral after the user narrated what happened stating he was an eye-witness and that it was a hired gun man who opened fire in the church and rather revealed disturbing photos of blood.
It was like bettween the devil and the deep blue sea, we have evidences and images by a mere facebook user, and since they say seeing is believing, shouldn't we believe what we have seen? But we were rather told not to believe any other version, now how about the photos?
The government should be a body of transparency , integrity, truth and justice which they keep telling us, but we are not stupid, neither are we dumb.
This was exactly what they took us for, when they released their second fiction of which they called the truth and reported a more bizzare headline:
TWO KINSMEN FIGHTING IN CHURCH LEADING TO THE INJURIES OF A FEW
But why where they ommiting the gun man, and the deaths?
The state Comissioner of police in his rather overfeed and obese body stated no lives where lost, while the families of the numerous deceased where crying for justice, i'd rather ironically applaud them for a job well done.
Their idea of keeping the truth from citizen so as not to create panic is a total bamboozle, and deception, even till today we still do not know the authenticated or real version of what really happened on that Bloody morning in august.
Even the press are rather writing the script given them by the government, a total show of deception by politics playing party men, who may even be protecting somebody involved in a dirty sham
And, up till date justice was never served. Because no one, anywhere can really place the truth of what happen on that fateful date, when i hear FACT IS THEIR FICTION, i think this is just an unflinching example
