Its been a while on my blog, I welcome you all to new month. Early hour of today I was studying one of the well known billionaire, philanthropist and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I came to the understanding of one habit from her which is Journaling. You wondering what journaling means?

This is the act of reasoning/thinking about your life and document them down in writing. Thats just what Journaling means. You may look at it that its simple but i must say to that daily journal has affected many prolific people careers positively and if you pay attention to this habit, it will help you also.

From my studies, many writers of motivational, psychology, inspirational are lovers of journal because many belief that, its the habit of journaling that brought about finding themselves and thereby create there behaviour and the way they act.

Think of Marie Curie, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein these are brilliant thinkers and inventors that utilized journaling in the journey of life. If you watch some of the leaders we have they also kept journals in one form or another. When we rely of journals to reflect on our daily workouts, it will definitely improve your outcomes.

Do You Ask Yourself Why Are Greatest Thinkers Spent Time Journaling? Whats The Importance?

From my experiences and what I have learnt, you can get your thought out of their head and onto paper with great benefits. I may not be able to cover all but I will deliver the little I stumbled upon along of journey of life.

  • Its provides The Opportunity To Learn New Lessons From Your past Experiences

When you have a journal and you try to go through your entries its just like reading a book for a second time and you understand that picking new sentences will definitely be your center focus and thats the way its works with reading your journal entries its makes you see the past in a different way.

  • Its Sharpens Your Memory

I so much fall in love with meditation and journal this is what I relied heavily on because its provide me with who, what, how, when, and why with a specificity that memory might have blurred but again it offered me a frank and unvarnished portrait of who I am in which I couldn't have found anywhere else.

Do you belief that time will always your face without you noticing and also it will change your thoughts without you realizing? When you begin to gain experience your beliefs start to shift slowly, with time journal entries have the ability to freeze your thoughts. You know, old pictures of yourself can be so interesting because it reminds you of something (what you looked like), but to shock you, your old journal entries are always come with more surprises because it reminds you of how you thought then.

  • Its Motivates You To Make The Most Of Each Day

When you know that you day will be recorded something in you will push you to make at least one good choice before the sun sets. Many times I do find myself thinking about something good to write down so i push forward to do something good I can write down.

  • Its Provides Proof Of Your Progress

Journal entries gives you something powerful to look at when you're feeling down. For example, when you have bad day, it is very difficult to remember your progress but what you have documented its easier to keep a sense of perspective.

I can continue to name the importance of this great habit (journaling) but yet there is one problem attached to this habit.

Most of people that follow this article will love this habit, but very little of us can stick with the act of journaling. Making it a habit is another issue. We agreed that journaling is cool and helpful but we never get around to making it a priority. Do you think of making journaling frictionless? Are you thinking of the simplest way to get the benefits attached to journaling without feeling like its another obligation?

I found myself in this level of thought sometimes ago but my profession helped me alot. Early morning as I resume work first thing to do is to write down my to do list for that day and this will be my tracker by the end of that day.

I will be open to you that there is no one right way to journal. What i mean is that you can decide to do it wherever you want and in whatever way you feel like it will work for you. But what is common is that you need a piece or a blank document. Here is my easy way to journal for you:

Put One Sentence Per Day.

When you write down one sentence its makes it fun. You know its easy to write one sentence of what you do and it is easy to feel successful with that. You know when you feel good each time you finish journaling, I tell you, coming back will be so easy for you.

Note: For a habit to be useful it does not have to be impressive.

When you start your journal with one line per day, for example:

  • How do I feel today? This is what i called Mood Journal

  • What is most important task today? This is what I called productivity journal

  • What happened today? This is what I called daily journal

Starting your journaling habit what you need is to do write your prompt for the month and jot down a few words each day. When the month is over, check all the 31 beautiful journal entries. With this exercise you will see the beauty in what you have done in one month.

In conclusion, friends when you feels like an annoyance for a habit, you are unlikely to stick with it. never make journaling a big production, just write one sentence about what happened during the day and note that it is what make it easy to show up that is very important.
