Hmmm! This really deep brov. Deeper than an abyss I must add. When you say you have a goal that you willing to die for, it gives you an incredible motive to keep going. It makes you focus on whats most important to you.
You have to be dependent on it, love it not only with your heart but with your spirit as well. Hug it every day like it is your brother with whom you experienced battle and death.

Absolutely agree that it is necessary to be able to focus, to stay steadfast and disciplined.
Without a purpose, long term goals will never be reached.
