Circumciscion: Male genital mutilation as a ritual for psychological control
You would know if you were in a cult, right?
You'd know if you were initiated into this cult by ritual mutilation of your genitals, right? You'd know if you were manipulated as a baby? Manipulated by old men to keep you under control of the cult-leaders, right? Someone would have said something if millions of babies were being genitally mutilated by powerful institutions, right? Someone would notice? The answer is rather more puzzling than you might at first think: No. As Frank Zappa said:
"The only difference between a cult and a religion is the amount of real estate they own."
Now, this will take a lot of courage and self-awareness, especially if you are a male survivor of one of these cults and had your genitals mutilated. The temptation will be to ignore your inner-truth and rationalize away what was done to you. Perhaps you have already repeated the cult's initiation ceremony on your own children.
Circumcision as sexual abuse ritual
What now? What can you do with the realization that you have participated in the mutilation of children's genitals. What can you do with the realization of the fact that your genitals were mutilated by your parents?
What most people do with this information is either minimize the impact this violence had on them. "It did me no harm," is the eternal battle cry of the victim turned perpetrator.
And then, if the feelings of discomfort surrounding the realization that we sexually abuse millions of babies in our global cults every year get too strong, then we must attack the messenger of these realizations.
Let's look in more detail at the: "It didn't do me any harm", defense. In response to this, the canny psychologist must ask: Is your planet in balance and harmony? Are aggressive males behind this problem? And if so: Could there be significant reasons for that; and do some of these reasons involve some very, very difficult questions? Could they involve subjects that the cult forbids discussion of? In short: Tell me what is taboo in your 'cult' and I will tell you the problem.
Perhaps the more interesting question is: Who came up with this cult ritual of cutting into male children's genitals?
Is it the same institutions whose priests abused and continue to sexually abuse children on a global scale? If so, why do we listen to what these sexual predators have to say about our children's genitals?
In short: Should we let old men with knives in their hands get their sexual pleasure from cutting into baby's penises?
Why are men so angry at women?
We know why women are angry at men: Men have beaten, raped and subjugated women for centuries. But why are men so angry at women? What is it that we are doing to male children that turns them into such aggressive, predatory beings?
Is slicing into a child's most sensitive organ a powerful psychological conditioning tool?
It turns out, that, yes, cutting into a child's penis sets off a chain reaction of neurobiological trauma that create a state of pain, terror and panic in the developing infant or adolescent's nervous system. It is, essentially, a form of state-sanctioned terrorism that devastates the child for a lifetime unless they become conscious of the conditioning.
What is worse: Because this is often done pre-verbally, the survivor, as an adult, has no recall of the pain of what they went through. They also have no support or recognition. They may even endorse the genital mutilation of the next generation. This is the classic pattern by which there is inter-generational transmission of trauma.
A study in the Journal of Health Psychology found that:
Infant male circumcision continues despite growing questions about its medical justification. As usually performed without analgesia or anaesthetic, circumcision is observably painful. It is likely that genital cutting has physical, sexual and psychological consequences too. Some studies link involuntary male circumcision with a range of negative emotions and even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Some circumcised men have described their current feelings in the language of violation, torture, mutilation and sexual assault.
The report goes on to find that:
The pain that is apparent in circumcised infants and is intensified by their lack of coping resources can have further ramifications. Prescott (1989) referred to the stress hormones triggered by intense pain and the adverse effects they may exert on brain development, sexual function, and behaviour. Anand and Scalzo (2000) postulated that severe pain during infancy may permanently and irreversibly alter neurological circuitry responsible for pain perception and memory.
Circumcision may permanently and irreversibly alter neurological circuitry responsible for pain perception and memory
Now, what possible use could a state-endorsed cult have for an army of males, unconsciously traumatized by their genital mutilation as infants, angry at the world for reasons they cannot verbalize, and who have problems with pain perception and memory?
Introducing: The Army
Once the cult has mutilated a significant number of infants, they can now easily indoctrinate those infants into systems of abuse that exploit the survivors compromised nervous system. Survivors of infant circumcision have reduced empathy and memory difficulties. Unable to recall the original source of their trauma, the genitally mutilated males, as adults, are organized in groups and ordered to attack other groups of abused males in other countries. This is done at the behest of the priesthood and government who endorsed their initial mutilation.
The army takes many forms. The abused male may just as easily become Harvey Weinstein as become a solider on the battlefield. Both are members of an army of abused males that wander this planet in search of a target for their anger. Many other wounded males simply find their place as middle management, or police officers, supporting the systems that abused them.

Circumcision as trauma-based mind control
As scientists have observed:
Newborn males respond to circumcision with a marked reduction in oxygenation during the procedure, a cortisol surge, decreased wakefulness, increased vagal tone, and less interactions with their environment following the procedure..." Rhinehart (1999) in a report of clinical cases noted that the only response available to the infant is shock, wherein the central nervous system is overwhelmed by pain, followed by numbing, paralysis, and dissociation. Possibly, dissociation of the traumatic experience and emotional pain may be employed by the infant as a psychological defence (Chu & Dill, 1990; Noyes, 1977; Rhinehart, 1999). While some babies have been described as being "quiet" after circumcision, Rhinehart concluded that the observed stillness most likely represents a state of dissociation or shock in response to the overwhelming pain
To summarise: The cult brutally sexually assaults male children and then hides this crime behind a 'cult'ural normalization of the practice. Their cult rituals are easily perpetuated by the fact that male survivors of the ritual do not wish to acknowledge what was done to them. Instead, the torture is repeated.
We know this is a common human reaction to severe trauma:
Repression; then repetition.
The researcher Cansever reported that:
Circumcision is perceived by the child as an aggressive attack upon his body, which damaged, mutilated, and, in some cases, totally destroyed him." Ritual circumcision appeared to be associated with increased aggressiveness, weakening of the ego, withdrawal, reduced functioning and adaptation, and nightmares consistent with PTSD.
Circumcision primes you for submission to authority
The scientist, Rhinehart "in a report of adult clinical cases, concluded that a man circumcised as a child is more likely to react with terror, rage and/or dissociation when confronted with situations interpreted as threatening. As in any situation of post-traumatic stress, an event resembling any aspect of the original traumatic experience is more likely to provoke negative emotions such as panic, rage, violence, or dissociation."
In short, circumcision is one, of many, techniques used by the cults that pull our strings in early childhood.
Thou shalt not remember
The most important part of this ritual is that the child does not grow into an adult who remembers the pain of their genital mutilation (circumcision). The cult leaders survive specifically because the adult male will dream up all kinds of rationalizations for what was done to them, and will actively defend the cult's rituals. Often this is done by minimizing their own experience as a child, or by claiming that their child has had no ill effects from the cult ritual. The problem is, that remembering the initial trauma, instead of repeating it, often requires a complete rejection of the social landscape in which that person exists. They must turn their anger towards society, their parents, their 'leaders', instead of turning it on the newborn male infant and mutilating him.
Most prefer to mutilate the next infant in the chain, instead of attacking the system. And this is understandable: They were conditioned to submit to authority by having their genitals cut into as children.
What other psychological effects does circumcision have?
For centuries, circumcision has been used as a strategy to reduce sexual gratification (Maimónides, 1963, p. 609)
So, it reduces sexual pleasure. Why would the state want us not to feel sexual pleasure? Could it be because it bonds us against them?
Circumcision also leads to changes in sexual practices. For example, Laumann, Masi, and Zuckerman (1997) reported that circumcision is associated with more elaborate sexual behaviours. It is possible that reduced sexual sensation may impel some circumcised men to engage in more elaborate sexual practices in order to attain sexual gratification.
Interesting: So circumcision makes the male more 'elaborate' in his sexual practices to gain gratification? Why would the state want that?
Rhinehart (1999) stated that psychological problems were almost universally noted by his self-selected circumcised respondents. These included reports of a sense of personal powerlessness, fears of being overpowered and victimised, lack of trust, a sense of vulnerability to violent attack, guardedness in relationships, reluctance to have relationships with women, defensiveness, diminished sense of masculinity, feeling damaged, sense of reduced penile size or amputation, low self-esteem, shame about not "measuring up," anger and violence towards women, irrational rage reactions, addictions and dependencies, difficulties in establishing intimate relationships, emotional numbing, a need for greater intensity in sexual experiences, decreased intimacy, decreased ability to communicate, as well as feelings of not being understood.
Hang on here, haven't we just described the average American male?
Welcome to the cult. Maybe it's time for us to all wake up and quit this gang of thieves?
Hey @kida, few months ago I promised to you I will make post where I would invite people to follow you. Unfortunately at that time had many problems, so I wasn't able to make proper post for you. I really apologize because of that.
But I did write post now. You can check it here.
I really hope you gonna be back on Steemit!
Always love.
Hey @kida, I hope you are safe and well. I too ask you to come back to steemit and continue your work - it is of benefit and it has a lot of healing power in its expression! I hope you may have this option availble to you should you want it.
I came here as a result of @cmoljoe's post, and I have been reading through your posts. I accept your story and I accept the picture you paint of how big and how widespread the phenomenon of abuse is. It fits with what little I am aware of. Transparency is increasing and this is thanks to brave voices like yours - which express not just the first-hand experience of the trauma, but also present a living example of how the self/being/consciousness can rise above such intensity of suffering and shine as a model for others!
May you be safe! May you be well!

[edit a few days later]: I've now read through all your posts @kida. Your clarity of expression is truly remarkable. You did mention once that you have experience/training in the psychotherapeutic process - this comes across very clearly. Be safe, be beyond the clutches.
Hello @barge
Thank you for your support.
I had to take a break to work on a project and process some more memories. I plan to continue writing more over the summer.
Thank you for reading my other posts. I appreciate your interest in this subject and I hope that I can help to spread more awareness on what is done to so many children on this planet.
Love and light.
Hi @kida, very glad to hear the break was on your terms and great to see you back :D ... welcome 🔆 🔆 🔆
You have my continued support and admiration. Thanks for getting back to me, and for the follow, it's really good news my friend. Stay safe, keep expanding. The power of the negative energy you were injected with cannot match the power of your intention to be free of it. Even a little light can dispel darkness, but not the other way around!
