RE: Resilience: key to overcoming adversity
Resilience , it is a characteristic that takes time to develop.
I think it goes down to mindset. The ability to get back up after getting knocked down. The ability to stand once again when you fallen. It's easy just to lay there. Sometimes laying there makes the most sense.
Personally in life I've been knocked down a lot. from the quite literal being in martial arts and getting kicked to the ground, to life when I lost lots of money, had social downfalls, and personally with lack of success.
I tend to keep a positive outlook, look at it as a challenge that is meant to be overcome, a puzzle that's waiting to be solved, and realize that today is not yesterday, tomorrow is not yet written, so why not I get back up again? why not keep on fighting? Life is short... too short to be held down.. at least that's my thought. :)
Dear @jacuzzi, thank you for stopping and reading.
According to you, it takes time to learn from such defeats, falls or adversities, but those same situations are forming us until we reach that reclining status.
It is very important in life to have a positive attitude for everything, that gives us an advantage in any adverse situation, we will be prepared to receive the blow, assimilate it and get up again.
Congratulations friend, I love that defiant attitude in the face of adversity.
