Today I will write a different topic from the past IT gadgets. I have been at many IT conference in the past half year.
The hottest topic was the continuous development was in the future.

The question is, why I write about it in the Daily tech talk?

Because sometimes technology able to accelerate learning. Just think about the Hololens which about I written 2 days ago. Most of the people learn better with visualisation. If we use all of our technology devices, we could accelerate our learning process.

Why it is important ?

If you read about AI and Robotics, you hear they will replace most of the workforce.
I'm absolutely sure about that this is true!
But not a problem!
Just think about the agricultural workforce in the US

While in 1790 90% of the US population worked in the agriculture, and now less than 2%.
Is this caused unemployment rate 88% ?
NO!

The workforce learned new jobs, to work. This is what I expect on AI and Robotics!
Most of the workforce will have new job, but for this they need to learn new things.

This is why learning in the future will be number one priority in everyone's life.
And this is where technology come into view. Who has better support for learning, will learn faster.

This is not only a simple behaviour question. Most of the people against the change. I think for this reason they need to broke this behaviour first.

While I was searching for a correct methodology, i found Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset concept.
I think this is really interesting to see the difference between two identified mindset.
The most authentic drawing is the following which show the difference

I can recommend the book also, which available at Amazon book store:

For those who better understand videos, there is a video on a TED talking

I think this is a proper approach to learn the openness for learning. Those who able to adapt these changes, will win the change contest, which driven by AI and Robotics.

I'm curious about your opinion about this topic, or any Psychology methodology which has impact on learning!

Sort:

I totally agree with you, learning new things and being flexible and open to future developments are key skills nowadays... :-)

I love psychology, AI and Robotic posts. Thank you for sharing. That said, I do not want our world to turn into AI or Minority Report. Just sayin'.

PS. Word on the street is, the AI is already built. However, it will only be after the mass annihilation of people will the AI be released to work and do the jobs people do not want to do or with less people. All a part of the population control movement by the cabal. (If you believe that stuff.) /conspiracy

Contributing a bit to the post or rather motivated, yes, indeed at the cognitive level or our nervous system develops certain skills to cope with the demands of the environment, we are sometimes used to repetitive jobs that often generate anedonia, however, when we are in constant change, we are obliged to take out of our being skills that we had forgotten and even unknown
