RE: Let's talk about people with inferiority complex

Since it is a problem of perception regarding one’s capacity and one’s skills

This is not quite right... though logically correct, it misleads... (i feel it is only because of assumptions of english)

Like, perfectionism doesn't drive one towards becoming perfect, the goal post is moved with each improvement. Perfectionism is a never ending treadmill of being imperfect, which usually translates to you not being good enough to be in the company of others.

So, to the inferior feeling people, the comparison always falls short.
But to remove the comparison is to remove the entire basis of their lives.

I find two things important. Finding out, in a factual, measurable way, how good you are at your tasks.

And then understanding that friendships rarely happen because of "good enough". They happen just because the person likes you, for some strange undefinable reason.

And then, there is the "people pleaser syndrome", where we feel that people like us for the things we do for them, and so pleasing them is the basis for the friendship. However, this is a control and manipulation thing. Or, we are trying to "buy" their friendship. So that we won't be alone.

It is a terrible, self reinforcing trap.

Agree, if people realize that they are good at what they do, it will be a clear proof of their worth

And then, there is the "people pleaser syndrome", where we feel that people like us for the things we do for them, and so pleasing them is the basis for the friendship

Those friendships are't meant to last long for obvious reasons.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts mate!
