This is a scary thought because what we know about government is REALLY bad.
It has been abundantly established that the government and media work together to create narratives, stir outrage, provoke fear and divide people into political groups that are constantly at each others throats. Oh and ratings, lets not for get ratings. Fabricated stories bolster viewership by bringing eyes to a network that would otherwise be distracted with other things. Let's be honest, fake news draws attention and makes advertisers a LOT of money. Hawaii's false alarm is just more of this same kind of thing.

You're right brother and furthermore it's a damn shame that people don't realize they're herded in certain directions for the benefit or agenda of the very groups who run it all........
Time to start questioning everything we have been taught... especially those things that are the most painful to examine. That means EVERYTHING... and especially those things people fear most to question publicly. Whatever will draw the most fire for asking "did this happen" is likely to be the best place to start re-investigating to find out what really happened.

Mr. Blum's quote is takes on a very different & horrifying truth. With the pizza-gate, pen state, hollywood type stuff that's come out. I still believe his statement holds true “No matter how paranoid or conspiracy-minded you are, what the government is actually doing is WORSE than you imagine.”
It sounds like a conspiracy theory but is not far away from the truth. Media creates most of the public discourse and we take them to be true.
When are people going to learn that we have been completely brainwashed. Virtually nothing we think is true when it comes to government, economy, money, and the legal system.
The term conspiracy theorist was coined by the cia, in a means to discredit those questioning the Kennedy assassination. Need some proof? Here is a couple Doc released via the Freedom of Information Act.

It is undoubtedly true, both government and media make the worse case scenarios even worse. Sometimes they manipulate and hide the real thing from common people, leading to tension, fear and outrage among the public.
We can't give these people an inch of our Trust, lest they steal a mile of our Liberty.
