@nakary A very good blog, especially for english teachers. Sometimes we understimate children, they have the ability to learn, my landlady in England invited me everyday to listen about her life no matter if I understood or not, I just ate and listen all the stuff she was saying and in few months I was talking. When we teach children to read in spanish we use the same method, and may be it can work with children learnig english. To sing at the same time you show pictures of the things you want to teach it can help in the learning. Exit in your work
Exactly, you got it right, that's the way children learn.
We have to speak English as much of the time as we can and they are going to begin to understand us,children have the ability to become competent speakers of a new language with remarkable facility. Although we have to keep the language simple and natural, keep it at their level and convey the meaning of what we are saying by our tone of voice and our body language.
