As on Open-Sourced "free-to-use" Project that no one owns #Promo-Steem was set up in 2017 for anyone wishing to promote #Steem.
It gives those looking to support the promotion of #Steem a place to easily find and reward those Users pushing the message out and promoting #Steem.

One of the best ways to attract more people to the community and the steem world to generate is through promoting our content through our personal networks. That is why I wanted one of the requirements to compete in the Monthly Goals Challenge was to share on their social networks, to encourage others to be part of Steemit.
With #promo-steem as a badge!
I think this idea of providing an economic incentive to members to share Steemit with their friends and family is an excellent idea.
