Steem Summit Weekly Status Update #4

Hello Steemians! The organizers feel the pressure right now as we are only two weeks away from the biggest event of the Steemit Cebuano community! As mentioned in the First, Second and Third Weekly Status Update, all of the things that the organizers have initiated so far are part of the pre-summit activities. The pre-summit activities were designed to:

lay the groundwork for the Steem Summit to the Steemit Community;
establish the identity of the Steem Summit;
gather support, of any kind, from Steemians;
uphold accountability, transparency and correspondence through the organizers; and
involve the whole steemph.cebu community in the event.

Also mentioned in the previous updates, this post series aims to let all of you to get caught up with all things summit-related. Don’t forget to hit the upvote and resteem buttons to show your support! The organizers are still extremely grateful for the support that they have been given. In line with the aims of the pre-summit activities, consider this update a call for Cebuano Steemians to share your passions and talents to the whole Steemit community. Call for Submissions

Steem Summit's Call for Travel Post Submissions. The deadline for the submissions is on April 10. The mechanics for submitting an entry, along with the rewards and the contest specifics were highlighted in this post.

Submission Winners

Steem Summit's Poetry Submission Winners. The winners were announced 3 days ago. Congratulations to all the winners! For the English poetry category, great work @xaydtrips, @daisydelta, @arc.angel and @morken. Equally awesome pieces from @janicemars, @japh and @jemzem for the Filipino poetry category as well. Steem Summit's Art Submission Winners. The winners were announced just today. Congratulations to all the winners! Thank you for sharing with us your masterpieces @geeyang15, @davids-tales, @ligarayk and @christney. For more details, take a look at this post.

Important Reminders

Steem Summit Registration. The Steem Summit's admission is FREE for all. The organizers would like to get a headcount of the people that will be coming to the event to contribute to its overall success. Comment your name in this linked post. Registration ends at April 16, 2018. All of the details can be read in the aforementioned post.

Those who are mighty proud of their Curie-approved posts, you get a chance to share it with us this week! The details of this submission will be posted within the week.

Announcement of Winners for the Travel Post Submissions.

All of those who submitted their entries for the travel post category will be thrilled to know who the winners are this week. The winners and the runners-up will be receiving SBD prizes. The winners also get to showcase their work in the exhibit.

The organizers hope that you’re all as excited for these as they are! Thank you for your participation, the organizers are truly grateful.
