The Impact of Steemit on An Average Human

Steemit has impacted on lots of people's life. Asides financially Steemit is known to impact on people's life mentally and academically.

Good evening, I’m @raymondbruce the founder of steemit_extention and the co-founder of the offline minnow school.

Steemit_extention is a project setup for the purpose of promoting steemit on facebook and depopulating the kingdom of facebook.

The offline minnow school is a project organized to assist and mentor minnows on steemit, through an offline and online class for minnows and promote steemit by organizing campaigns and meetups, currently we have produced over 100 minnows and mentoring about 30 of them.

One major challenge I faced while I was actively promoting steemit to get the members of the minnow school crew was that, I hear people who now actively create valuable articles complain about not knowing what to write about. Imagine someone who said they couldn’t write 3 months ago now writing valuable contents. All it took was time and commitment to express believe in them. I have seen the writer awakened in tons of people over the last couple of months. At this point we can conclude without any measure of doubt that steemit has its way of making you a better version of you. Takes you through a grind and makes you brain sweat and work. However, I believe that only a few have actually seen steemit from this perspective.

I run an offline minnow school on the campus of an academic school, and I have seen students share testimonies about how their essay writing in school have changed since they joined steemit. The system of education in my country rewards you mostly for using your memorization skills more than your intellectual prowess and that could be a challenge for someone who studies to understand and memorize less.

Steemit has drastically changed a huge part for most of us here and have given us a measure of believe in our oratory skills.

So many have become independent thinkers and could write loads of pages in a few minutes because they’ve been actively doing that on daily basis on their steemit blogs. It’s been a huge pleasure to be a part of a movement such as this. I felt like sharing this because it also proves the idea of steemit rewarding its users beyond the dollars. And of course, I am sure that only those with foresight will see the beauty of the testimony in this article.
The offline minnow school has been passive for few weeks now as most of the crew members are preparing to resume.
We hope to start soon so we could dive deeply into phase two, promoting steemit beyond writing. This will be taking place in soon and we invite you to keep checking on us for more updates on that.
