@armentor. Amazing captures again. That is one big ass ship. Never seen anything like that in SM or the Southbay. Were there any reports of sharks? Just kidding. Maybe they were training in prep for the summer.
My neighbors thought the same things. Either shark reports due to shifting currents from high winds or possibly training. We have seen some Coast Guard Hilos, but no LAPD or news Hilos which always happens when there are shark reportings. So much be training.
I was down there last night and as you other post showed, the coastguard ship was gone. Did't see any sharks! ;). Must have been training like you said, before it warms up.
I spoke to a lifeguard last night and he confirmed. Was for training and the ship is out of point dume. He even said they don't come down here that often.
