$2 STEEM - Look at these discount prices!

in #promo-steem7 years ago

Steem has been hovering around the $2 mark the past several hours, dipping below at times depending on which exchange you look at.  Yes, we are down quite a bit from the all time highs that most cryptos were at in early Jan.

I posted yesterday that I thought we would settle around $2.  Well, we are there.  To be honest, it feels like the market is not done bleeding yet.  Perhaps we go down to $1.50?  Nobody knows.

BUT.  Look at it like this...the cheaper Steem price gives people a chance to get in, and buy more Steem for their money.  If we want this to grow we need more users and more investors.  Real investors.  People that are in this for the long haul.  Low prices present opportunities for more people to flood into Steem.  It is a lot more attractive to be able to buy 1000SP with your $2000USD than to only get 500SP back when Steem was $4.

I know, ideally Steem would go up and up and up some more, until it was $1000 a coin...and we could all retire and live off our Steem for the rest of our lives.  Usually, it doesn't happen that way.  It is a rocky road.  The strong will see it through and stick with a company that has a good idea...good vision...something that can potentially change the world.

I am looking at this as a positive thing.  I have bought more Steem as it has gotten cheaper.  I plan to buy more Steem.  In the long run, I see the value and feel Steem will grow and be worth more in the future.  We are one of a few cryptocurrencies that has legitimate products you can actually use, see, and touch.  Good products, that are just in their genesis stages.  There is a lot to be said about that, and it gives me confidence that I am a part of something big.

No that you mention it, I am going to convert a few shitcoins I have into STEEM on my exchange! Thanks for the unintentional heads up!

Also, because I don't have to pay my bills with Steem (just yet!) I am okay with it being low as the rewards in Steem Power are based off the USD which is higher by comparison right now.

Thanks for lookin out man!

No problem! Although Steem has lost a lot of it's value over the past couple months...most of that is due to quick pump/dump investors looking for a quick buck, whom are now exiting now that the most recent pump phase is over. I feel we will settle down soon and make a nice slow climb, with the occasional spike every now and then.
