# promo-steem: Utilizing Small Opportunities to Promote steemit

Hi ...... steemians wherever you are successful greeting is always for you all. On this day (BMM) Baitul Mall Muamalat held a seminar with orphans in order to provide guidance and illumination about scholarship from OKI (Islamic world organization). this is given to orphans from poor families. In this event invited students of grade 3 of Senior High School who will pass and enter Higher Education School as well as socialize and introduce university in Indonesia.

To the seminar participants are given accommodation, transport money, and certificate.
During the lunch break while waiting for the lunch distribution I took this little chance to promote steemit to them. I describe steemit as a social medium to interact and communicate with everyone in the world but at the same time can generate additional income. And this is the main difference with other social media that exist today. I got a very nice applause and welcome from the participants and the seminar committee because it is very much expected by them because soon they will enter college and need high cost. So this is what is needed.
