My Promo-Steem pick of the day - From Nigeria, please give it up for @xpency and @anjiba

If you were ever under any illusions as to the value of being a promoter of Steemit and the STEEM blockchain, these two guys will put you straight.

This is my promo-steem pick of the day. Every day I find and reward promoters who are doing amazing work bringing the message to their local communities (and sometimes even much further). And today, I happened upon these guys, from Nigeria. They've basically set up the Abuja branch of promo-steem and are out there educating and encouraging people to come and try out the platform, and see what it can do for them.

So over the weekend they had 2 days of community meetups, and a seminar day explaining Steemit to people in their community. Seems like it was a brilliant bit of work, and their blogging about it should easily pay off. These guys seem so passionate about what they are doing, and they realise that if they are out there telling people about it, they effectively become leaders, because newbies are going to be looking to them for help and support....and they are providing it.

Steem leaders - leading by example

Because you see, it's not just about being a prolific poster of great content, it's also about demonstrating real value, and as a leader, you have to lead by example.

It's no good just blogging to try to earn as much wonga as you can. You have to add value to the blockchain...to the community.

Imagine you kept getting invited to parties, and regularly turned up empty handed, but were quite happy to go around eating all the vol-au-vants and Pringles, and drinking everyone's booze from the cooler? I suspect after a little while of doing that, nobody would want to invite you anymore, because basically, you're a tosser who just expects everything done for him. And we all know (and really dislike) those on here who pop up their little bots giving it "Oh, please upvote my comment" or sometimes, even aggressively demand upvotes.

Well, my upvote is precious, and I'm giving it ONLY to people who are promoters, who add some value to the blockchain.

And that's what these boys are doing. They are the epitome of great value creators, going out there and just doing it, making it happen, and bringing new folks to the blockchain.

It's not just this post. Go and check out what else these guys have been up to!

For now, big credit to @xpency and @anjiba.

Well deserved! It's great to see 2 fine gentlemen spreading knowledge about the opportunity that Steemit provides!

Here here! I quite agree. This pair are a credit to the whole promotional community. They have proper got up and just made it happen, and all credit to them for that.

Agreed, these two have shown that Steemit is more than just a social network. It's an opportunity, if you will, for many!

Another user that I definitely think you should take a look at is @tojukaka! He also has been promoting steemit for a long time! I think you would be impressed with his work!

Thanks for the encouragement...
