Ian was born with a little notorious autism. His parents treated him like his other three children, never giving him special attention or justifying certain tantrums. Ian's parents always knew the existence of Dados and believed that he devised an imaginary companion to not feel alone. They speculated, by the way, that the name "Dados" came from their fondness for board games. One night in 2004, Rosa, the mother of the family, announced a trip to the beach; there, they would spend Christmas and receive the New Year. All the boys seemed excited and began to assemble their suitcases, except Ian. His father forced him to make his luggage, but he did not obey. A hostile fight was about to take place

A neighbor said that Ian's cries were loud and were heard throughout the block. The young man showed a gigantic aggression and a sickly rebelliousness that spoiled the festive spirit inside the house. With his hands in his ears and staring into a corner, Ian seemed to take orders from someone. He climbed the stairs, followed by each member of the household trying to stop him. When he reached the corridor on the second floor, he took out a small weapon, put it on his temple and expressed how much he hated the people in front of him; he also said that his best friend, Dados, also detested them. Before his father could intervene, Ian asked him to move away and proceeded to trigger the gun. A dry sound, a sea of blood and a corpse marked the fate of the witnesses.

The house was abandoned on a street in Carora, Venezuela. The latest gossip that ran through the town is that the only daughter of the marriage was a prostitute. "Those people, for the pile of money they had, were problematic and never lived in peace, they never sought help from that boy" says Luz Soledad, the grandmother of a friend, the very neighbor who heard the scandal prior to the suicide of Ian.

This month will be 14 years of that twisted act. Ian would have more than 30. The crime was in the air, with him as sole responsible, although many point to Dados, be it imaginary friend or demonic possession, as the real culprit.
