PROTEST AGAINST TRAFFICKING OF WOMEN, GIRLS AND ADOLECENTS (MILKBOX CONTEST)
I came accross this contest by @milkbox.info, you can read more about it here to participate. The topic is "protest" and I am addressing trafficking of girls, women and adolescents in support of Loto Azul Foundation. Human trafficking, especially in women keeps rising by the day while our government pretends not to notice. Recently I saw a video titled the survivors which tells the story of females who are victims of child trafficking. While going through the comment section, people had different opinion a usual. Since I couldn't fight all the negative ones, here is my protest to them:

It is disheartening to see vicious and cruel men,
Saying we are only good for prostitution.
Daily, these predators continue to thrive on their ignorance,
Thinking they are taking our strengths and weaknesses.
Which is worse I ask?
A man who knowingly pays to rape a girl,
Or the one who kidnaps and forces her into prostitution.
We die daily in the hands of the rich and powerful,
Who are the so called evil-doers but never get caught.
Our governments sit and watch,
While our borders are kept open.
For these act of animalism, because they care less.
They will rather get their belly filled with food,
Their funds shuttled from one bank to another,
While they turn a blind eye to these crazy acts.
We are females, predestined for greatness.
We need to be brave, so that these animals can be stopped.
Teach us while we are young,
Strategies and self defense,
For protection against assault and violence.
In our hours of bravery and hope,
Even when the situation seems hopeless.
We won't cower in fear or silence,
Or let these monsters break our spirit.
Until our abusers are brought to justice,
We will continue screaming at the top of our voices,
The need for the faces of these Johns and pimps,
To be pasted everywhere.
If they are willing to make fast and easy money,
They should be able to face fast and easy death.
It takes so much to relay traumatic experience,
But our strength is incredibly admirable.
We won't stop until we all become real humans who protects our girls and not prey on them.
