Great post.
I myself am horrible at managing time. This is aggravated by my rotating work schedule. I work one week of nights, followed by one week of evenings, then to days, and repeat. This of course means that everything else in my life must rotate. It lessens the time I get to see my wife. It drastically reduces my ability to enjoy my time off work. It is good money for my area, but I'm not really sure it is worth it. My creditors assure me it is...
I recently came across the idea of the pomodoro technique. It has been around for a while, but I had never heard of it. I downloaded an app for my phone and use it wen I set a task for myself. I have had pretty good success with it.
It seems that schedules and systems are a popular subject right now. Last night I read a post by @sek3 about Benjamin Franklin's daily schedule. This schedule is really more of a daily practice and given the practitioner, is noteworthy. There are few men in history better known for so many diverse accomplishments.
I hope you have good luck with your system, your career, your studies, and your journey on Steem.
Thanks for the post.
Keep Steeming!

Nonsense.
You consistently create quality original content and don't get much love for it. You are an excellent commenter, and in my opinion the kind of Steemian we need more of.
Do take the advice about adding pics though. People have low attention spans and you have to trap their eyes. Try to mimic a magazine layout or an advertising spread as much as you can. They are designed to hold attention.
I could do better in this area myself.
Keep Steeming!
Thank you.
And yes, I will look at adding pictures more from now on.
Thanks.
Thank you. That work schedule you describe does sound tricky.
Thanks for the links too. I'll have a look at those. It's great that the pomodoro technique has been successful for you. It is always interesting to see what recognisable / historical people like Benjamin Franklin do too. I remember before I discovered systems I had worked out for myself that a short to do list was more motivating and worked better for me than long ones (but still not a good as this seems to be working so far in this short space of time) and I at one point looked it up to see if there was anything to back up what I noticed and there were articles pointing out all these great people who used short to do lists rather than long ones. It's interesting to see what people like that do.
Thank you and good luck with your techniques, your work and Steem too.
