A hundred thousand years ago there were relatives of ours outside of Africa
Surely many of you have ever wondered when the human being left Africa. A study published by the journal Science reports the discovery of half jaw, unfortunately we don't have more parts of the skeleton although this part that has been found contains a lot of information. By the shape of the teeth and how they are arranged, it can be said that it's a homo sapiens mandible. A human jaw found in Israel more than 170 thousand years ago.
All the genetic evidence indicates that our ancestors, the homo sapiens who left Africa to colonize the entire planet, did this 70,000 years ago.A hundred thousand years ago there were relatives of ours outside of Africa. Furthermore, this is not the first time that fossils have contradicted genetics because another set of remains that also appeared in Israel in the mid-20th century indicate that there were already humans there 100,000 years ago.
How can genetics tell us when our ancestors came from Africa?
It is not so difficult, it seems a very strange thing but the truth is that it's quite simple: Comparing the genomes of people from various parts of the world. If everyone from United States to Japan comes from an initial population that left Africa and then dispersed throughout the world, it means that the differences between my genes and those of a Japanese for example have been appearing throughout that time. At first we all had similar genes and then they have diverged.
If there were already humans out there for a long time, where did they go?. What happened to them?. Why do not we find traces of them?. there's not an exact answer although the most widespread is that they left Africa because the weather was warmer outside and then returned when the weather became colder. These periodic glacial / interglacial periods are well known to scientists.
